Scene II story (continues):
Giada lies unconscious and, for the whole night, Lucillo watches over her.
In silence he understands that his story is written in a strange code, of which he still knows few words but becomes more familiar day after day. This language does exist and makes possible the renewal of life and the realization of harmony.
Hope rises up.
